Get a home instance with all Living Story 3 and 4 gathering nodes for daily income of unbound/volatile magic or farm someone else's (friend, map chat or LFG).Do all wvw/pvp non repeatable tracks that give clovers ( ) - each gives 7-14 clovers.
Log into alt accounts if you have them for daily rewards.Do Ley-Line Anomaly daily for 1 mystic coin.Do T4/CM fractals daily, buy mystic clover from the fractal vendor. This makes investing in glyph of VM more worthwhile (I have one on the harvesting tool since that's the one I use the most). Then every time you switch characters from the one with the Unlimited Tools you just double click on the tools in the Shared Slot to easily change tools, allowing you to share one set of Unlimited Tools with all characters. For those of us not into PVP/WVW there are still ways to use the reward tracks to get materials and Gift of Battle - there are a few dailies for both modes that are easy to complete when they're available: Land Claimer, Big Spender and Mists Guard Killer can be easily done in EOTM without (usually) encoutering a single soul other than people doing the same, and doing an unranked match in PVP when Daily PvP Matches Played in Unranked or Ranked Arena is quick and easy (and may get you one or two more PVP dailies completed if you're lucky).Park alts in Bjora Marches at the chests > get Eternal Ice Shards > turn them into L4 currency at the vendor > consume currency for VM > buy the trophy shipments.Good VM farming methods are the daily-reset nodes in Thunderhead Peaks and/or Grothmar Valley, investing in at least one glyph of VM for your gathering tools OR the VM tools buyable from vendors in Dragonfall, as well as just running around L4 maps gathering the specific map nodes. If you have Unbound Magic to spare you can also buy Magic-Warped Bundles. Farm Volatile Magic to buy trophy shipments to buy up your T6 mats.I'm sure with the Legendary Armory and the wait for EOD there's going to be many of us working on legendaries in the coming months, so I'm hoping to get a nice thread of tips and tricks going here to aid both veterans and new players with our leggie journeys - I will try to edit the post to summarize tips from the thread!
